Meet Kate

Kate and her husband live near Sparta, Michigan, with their two children and dog. Kate enjoys reading, going to the lake, being outside, and spending time with her family. She is passionate about empowering women through education, informed consent, and shared decision-making. 

As a certified nurse-midwife, Kate has provided prenatal, antepartum, postpartum,  gynecological, and well-woman care for 9 years. Before becoming a midwife, she was a registered nurse for 11 years. 

Kate hopes Orchid Wellness will be a resource for women to receive primary, preventative, and complementary care through conventional medicine and evidence-based therapies.
